Implemented iOS Push Notification Support

As I was saying, before shit hit the fan earlier... iOS 14 and later now supports push notifications. I was curious if it was possible to add this to FP.

This should now work if you install the site as an app on your device, it might take up to 24 hours until that becomes an option depending on the device. Make sure to allow push notifications afterwards.

Yep yep, works now! Already had it on my home screen but didn't work, but when I removed it and then re-added it, it let me enable it.

The only problem though is that the page opens up as its own app essentially, and the navigation stuff at the bottom appears to be covered up by chat.

I can't speak for the chat thing, but yeah that's basically what a PWA is.

I just have Gmail notifications on. It gives me Notifications where the first word is Furrypile.
