I like the communal dens idea. But I feel like that a state of torpor is kind of boring. As a rat you could enter a state of scurrying!
Mmm, mayhaps! But a constant state of scurrying sounds like effort, and that's bad. I much prefer a peaceful skunky foraging, and, with the kind of defense us skunks possess, we can do so without worryingI like the communal dens idea.
